Gods of Valor

Second Life got itself a new roleplay sim with Gods of Valor. It's a very very cool place totally worth checking out. And if you're into paragraph roleplays, you'd most likely want to stay. I, of course, couldn't resist sending in an application form even though it's been ages since I've RP-ed. Hopefully I'm not too rusty from the long hiatus.

Going Back to the Roots

Yes, I'm back. Having the damn colds because of the rain still, but trying to get back into things. And where better to start than the roots?
The first job I've had in Second Life was in Delirium Style, I think it's only right that when you find yourself lost, you get back to where you've started. So cheers! Here's Delirium Style's newest male clothing release, Xendtech.

Sooooo... as you can see, I'm still frustrated because my computer and net are still screwing up and I can't do anything about it. The soonest I can get a new computer is most likely during the weekend. As for the net... let's just hope I can take a good pic before the net craps out every 5-15 minutes.

Anyway, to make use of the time, I thought that maybe it's a "good" idea to share some of my thoughts about the recent Twilight dude-Twilight chick split. No, I've not read the book. One of my friends had one. I couldn't get past reading the cover without falling asleep. See, it's books (and movies!) like these that you finally get it why God created the yawn.

Back to the story. Twilight chick actress slept with her director or whatnot from her movie, Snow White and the Huntsman. If you ask me, Neil Gaiman's version of Snow White was better. Loads better. In his book, Smoke and Mirrors, there was a (more or less implied) short story there that was told from the "evil" stepmother's point of view. It was a good story. Kinda dark though. Definitely not the Happily Ever After kind. Hints of pedophilia and incest (and bestiality, I guess). And oh! Don't forget the happy necrophilia theme!

Then again...from the little I heard, doesn't Twilight have those elements too? 

Hmm... maybe I should start reading those books.

No, that's not Voldemort and Hello Kitty.  I put a nice tie for the male vampire and a ribbon for the female vampire so people wont get confused. 

New Perspective

These past few days I've not been able to blog much  and Tabby's just recovered from being sick. Since I can't take good pictures at the moment because of net and computer reasons, I decided to be resourceful to make use of the time (And to keep this blog alive).

Showing Signs of Life

Hello!

First off, I would just like to apologize because I've been really busy with this week again and I've not been posting as much as I would have like to. My work in RL requires working 6 days a week and 16 hours at the most (and yes, sometimes I work while juggling things in SL). If I don't reply to you right away in SL, there are only 5 reasons why; (1) Wife wants all of my attention, (2) I'm lagging, (3) I'm in the middle of something really important and couldn't be disturbed, (4) I'm AFK, and (5) I got my face planted on the table again and drooling all over the place.

This week has been especially busy because I got SL commitments to work with and deadlines to meet.  I still am short of sending one article for SLE (sorry about that, Carmichael) because yeah... Murphy's law. Internet's being stupid at home so I have to go and rent another computer at some other place to check my mails. To all the designers, I shall make sure to take the pictures and blog when net comes back on (*crosses fingers* Here's to hoping it'll be tomorrow). To Levity Magazine, thanks! To DS models scheduled under my time, please don't cause any trouble while I'm away. :P

Lots of new stuff up for grabs! Delirium Style caters to casual/streetwear, while Pekas has another one of their Roleplay outfits out. Both are awesome for everyday wear... Just depends which sim you are in. \m/

Be sure though that you still have lindens though as the Hair Fair will be starting on the midnight of the 14th!
