Something Free

So, the sim where our farm is located had to shut down. Have to find another place to set up a place for the cats. Nothing too big actually. A little parcel would do, and it would really be wonderful if the place isn't laggy. Anybody who knows somewhere that fits that description, please do contact me or Tabby (since she's got the cats with her). Time on SL is very limited at the moment so I can't really jump around looking. Any help given would be much appreciated. \m/

Whistle while you hunt

Before I discovered that blogs such as SL Hunts existed, I used to get my hunt fix by going to certain stores and check out what hunt was currently running there. One of those stores was Vero Modero, for a number of reasons. 

1) They usually had a lot of hunts going on in tandem. 

2) The store is huge and I like a challenge when I hunt, 

though I get distracted by all the pretty along the way.

3) The quality of Vero Modero's hunt items have never 

disappointed me. Not once.

On to the goodies. 

The Now that you are mine hunt (June 1st - July 31) is this lovely bridal gown. It comes complete with veil and no less then three skirt options! All for 0 L

I've mentioned before on an earlier blog post that Finesmith is having a sale at their mainstore...well this sale extends to it's store on Marketplace as well. I snapped up the amazingly detailed Heartbreak necklace for only 100 L. Don't forget to rate items which you like!

If you're Faerie crazy like I am, the Midsummer Night's Dream hunt (June 21st - July 21st) is also currently running at Vero Modero. Elegant lacework aside, I spent time squeeing over the original interpretation of the wings. This is one hunt item to have in your inventory, and you don't have to pay a single L for it.

Once in a while I'll find a men's outfit that's worth resizing down to fit me. Vero Modero's gift for the Make him over hunt (June 15th - July 15th) is one of those outfits. It's totally kooky and free, a combination that gets a lot of love form me.

PeKaS Designs + Finesmith + Ploom

PeKaS Designs has released a line of mesh formal and casual dresses and I'm more then psyched to see the vendors adorning the new release wall at the store. If you've come to relate beautiful design and eye catching textures to the PeKaS brand name then you won't be disappointed with this new collection. 

For those who haven't been under a rock, or buried in work like me, it's the last day of the Finesmith Spring hunt. You'll need the group tag to get prizes in 20 boxes scattered around the store and it's a 100 L to join the group. It's totally worth it and the hunt is relatively quick, just don't get distracted by the sale going on at Finesmith right now. 100 L for single items....wait, what was I talking about *spaces out*

Ploom is having a retirement sale. 61 hairstyles and all skins are at 50% off. I haven't had the time to try some demos for the skins, what with my inventory being stuffed to the max with hair. If Second Life were at all like Skyrim, I wouldn't be able to move at all. Ever. Doesn't mean I won't make the trip back though...

That's usually how I like my eggs. In Second Life though, eggs usually means the shape of the prim you have to hunt out to get various goodies. That's certainly true for Vero Modero's Easter Hunt (March 23 - 8th April). Go around the main store and find 12 eggs which contain both female and male prizes. There's hunt hints too, so be sure to click on the poster of the hunt at the landing point.

Heartsick Holiday Hunt

Heartsick has set out a Christmas store hunt that will run until the 4th of January. Some of the prizes are skin (in 3 tones), jeans (in 3 colors) and 3 sets of sweater (in 3 colors). You have to pay 10L for each find however, but the prizes are worth every dime. They also have a gift for group members, if you've not grabbed that one yet.
