Back from the Dead

I'm back. Took a step back from SL partly because RL was demanding and partly because I wanted to spend more time with Tabby out of SL. Came back to SL and saw that a lot has been happening and I have to work double time to catch up.

First up, Christel Morane of Delirium Style was kind enough to name one of the new outfits after me in celebration of working in DS for 2 years now. It's awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Did I mention it's awesome? Because heck yeah! It's awesome.

Second, yeah. I really should get working on posting more stuffs. There's a lot of items that needs to be blogged and if I continue to put it off, I'll lag behind.

Jeans - Kal Rau Skinny Denim Pants (available in 3 sizes and a hud that lets you pick from among 6 colors for the boxers and 4 for the jeans)

Third, just the other day, I added someone in Facebook. Her name was Clary Greymoon *waves*. Granted, it should have been Graymark, but I honestly laughed so hard when I saw her request. Readers of The Mortal Instruments will get what I mean, but no. I've not really heard about TMI series until about 6 months ago and it was not a factor in choosing my name. 

In regards to TMI series, it's actually quite good.  I suppose some are quite sore though because the author of TMI, Cassandra Clare, was, in my understanding, a huge Potter fan, and J.K. Rowling's books had inspired her in writing some of the characters (Draco, Ginny?). The Harry Potter series had raised the bar so high that all the fantasy books that come after it would always be compared to the series. Heck, even Rowling wasn't spared from that with her new book (even if it isn't a children's/young adult's book, much less a fantasy series). I honestly don't know what's the deal. Even Rowling based parts of her series from other books too.

Don't get me wrong, the HP series is excellent, but I think it's unfair to be fixated on just that when there are also other brilliant authors.

Werewolf avatar - [1A] Werewolf Solar (male) [I've bought this a year ago but I thought it'd be fun to show it off for this post. I was looking for a lycan avatar for an RP sim that I've been planning to join but ultimately did not due to a busy sched. I saw the abundance of the whole dark-furred lycans in SL and had been looking for something lighter or not common. It was between Solar or Forest. Solar won because I thought it was fitting for my name]

Going Back to the Roots

Yes, I'm back. Having the damn colds because of the rain still, but trying to get back into things. And where better to start than the roots?
The first job I've had in Second Life was in Delirium Style, I think it's only right that when you find yourself lost, you get back to where you've started. So cheers! Here's Delirium Style's newest male clothing release, Xendtech.

New Releases

Delirium Style - Kuralisa (325 L)

Another new release, another few minutes of squee-age. This cute new romper outfit from Delirium Style is set to be a staple in my closet for the season. Aside from it's playful design and cool pastel colors, the thing I like most about this outfit is that it comes with many choices of alpha layers. If you're using a viewer which allows you to stack on layers, then you might want to use the ones for the boot and mesh romper at the same time. Or if you use a 'one alpha layer only at a time' viewer the outfit also includes a layer for boots and mesh romper.

So everyone wins.  

The Kuralisa mesh rompers come in singles as well. Six great designs to choose from at 150 L each. The boots from the outfit are sold as singles as well, in eight different colors. These Summer boots (120 L) are unisex as well, so go ahead and get them...stomp around in those summer puddles in matching footwear with your significant other. 

Onto the next New Release of this blog post. Unique Megastore has expanded on it's Ethnic Skin line with the release of the American Couple. I was lucky enough to be able to bring to you the American Woman. Being a lot, a bit of a skin junkie, I was very pleased to add this sweet, fresh face to my collection. I simply adored the cream complexion as well, and it wasn't too pale or too tanned for my tastes.

Each makeup pack comes with four skins, normal or sexy breasts with hairbases for both variations. You will also get a bald hair base, eyes, and tattoo layers for freckles, pubic hair and sexy breasts. In the picture above, I'm wearing makeup 01 skin with freckles and the Dream eyes that come with. In my opinion the eyes are gorgeous and go perfectly with this skinline.  

And here's a look at all 12 of the makeups available from the American Woman release. I love the fact that there was a lot of variation in the selection provided. From playful to sultry to simple casual daywear you can't really go wrong with this new release from Unique. I was simply dazzled by the glossiness of the lip colours and the vibrancy of the eyeshadows that I could not choose a single makeup colour to call my favourite.

For those of you who have always wanted to try the 'open mouth' look, I would suggest getting the final two makeups of this skinline. The lips are only slightly parted and the showing of teeth very subtle, all in all I thought it was very well done.

Mesh-y goodness + Sale

Lately I've found myself wearing more mesh, and mostly the reason for this is Delirium Style. I've blogged about their growing collection of mesh outfits and separates, and since then the genius behind Delirium Style, Christel Morane, has added even more amazing items to her line.

Delirium Style - Lavena (325 L)

Since you always get so much out of your purchase at Delirium Style, the boots and bangles (mesh) are included with the outfit as well.  And if you fancy just the jeans or the mesh tube, they are available as separates as well. Five different colors for the Lavena jeans and eight different designs for the mesh tube top. Talk about being spoiled for choice!

Delirium Style - Kitty (300 L)

One of my favourite parts in this outfit was the shoes. Most of the time, my avvie is in heels, or hooves and it's just nice to see her wearing something comfortable, plus they're just an adorable pair! The mesh spaghetti strap top is also sold as a separate and comes in seven designs.

Delirium Styled

Delirium Style has some new releases out! I always get excited like you wouldn't believe when I see their new stuff. Christel Morane is brilliant and always seems to out do herself with each new release and it always results in some serious squee-lage.

Cryssie is an outfit that rolls sexy and girly all into one. I love everything about the outfit from the little bows to the simplicity of the black sheath dress. And the pink boots, who could resist.

Next up is Maddie, which is the perfect casual outfit for days when you don't feel like dressing up but don't want to be looking sloppy either. The tube top is mesh and just the latest in the line of awesome mesh clothing for women and men by Delirium Style.

Delirium Style does seperates as well, and it goes without saying that they're just as amazing as their full outfits. If you're ever in the store, make it a point to check out their singles section, you'll be spoiled for choice and won't be disappointed.

The last few days and weeks been a bustle of activity for both me and Tabby. We both got the Manager position for Delirium Style (YAY!). Tabby's also been trying to claw her way out of stacks of papers and assignments, while trying to balance Model stuffs. I, on the other hand, got in as one of the writers of Maniera Magazine. Watch out for next month's issue, which is all about Roleplay. Also, InWorld Magazine just released April issue, so if you've not grabbed the latest copy, head over to Vero Modero and grab one from the kiosk. And if you've still got time, check out my article at SLEnquirer about Sacred Cauldron, a virtual Pagan Academy. Yes, I'm a Christian, but I hoped I wrote it objectively enough.

Still Sick

Sorry we've not been able to post much lately. Last week has been a rollercoaster ride (I was not able to attend the Erotic Storytelling shindig *sad face*, but Tabby and I did attend the Phil Collins Concert sponsored by Mimi's Choice, which was packed and rocking but I had to leave because the lag was killing me; and were also among the audience at the Miss Xanadu event.) Tabby's been busy with her model casting stuffs and I've been trying to write an article despite having a block and an illness (Writing turned out really bad, but after a lot of false starts, I managed to get the article going. Being a journalist in SL is a new experience. )

So, yeah. I've been down with the flu. Still got it actually. And as much as I'd like to tell you about the very fascinating topics of scratchy throats, 5-minute interval sneezes, and runny noses, I'd rather tell you about Delirium Style's new releases instead.

New Home, New Place

Greetings.

This is my first time here to post in blogspot, as my first blog before was in livejournal, but so far, everything seems good. I'm still trying to learn the ropes so if I make any mistakes, just tell me and I'll get right to it.
