Sooooo... as you can see, I'm still frustrated because my computer and net are still screwing up and I can't do anything about it. The soonest I can get a new computer is most likely during the weekend. As for the net... let's just hope I can take a good pic before the net craps out every 5-15 minutes.

Anyway, to make use of the time, I thought that maybe it's a "good" idea to share some of my thoughts about the recent Twilight dude-Twilight chick split. No, I've not read the book. One of my friends had one. I couldn't get past reading the cover without falling asleep. See, it's books (and movies!) like these that you finally get it why God created the yawn.

Back to the story. Twilight chick actress slept with her director or whatnot from her movie, Snow White and the Huntsman. If you ask me, Neil Gaiman's version of Snow White was better. Loads better. In his book, Smoke and Mirrors, there was a (more or less implied) short story there that was told from the "evil" stepmother's point of view. It was a good story. Kinda dark though. Definitely not the Happily Ever After kind. Hints of pedophilia and incest (and bestiality, I guess). And oh! Don't forget the happy necrophilia theme!

Then again...from the little I heard, doesn't Twilight have those elements too? 

Hmm... maybe I should start reading those books.

No, that's not Voldemort and Hello Kitty.  I put a nice tie for the male vampire and a ribbon for the female vampire so people wont get confused.

These past few days I've not been able to blog much  and Tabby's just recovered from being sick. Since I can't take good pictures at the moment because of net and computer reasons, I decided to be resourceful to make use of the time (And to keep this blog alive).

Showing Signs of Life

Hello!

First off, I would just like to apologize because I've been really busy with this week again and I've not been posting as much as I would have like to. My work in RL requires working 6 days a week and 16 hours at the most (and yes, sometimes I work while juggling things in SL). If I don't reply to you right away in SL, there are only 5 reasons why; (1) Wife wants all of my attention, (2) I'm lagging, (3) I'm in the middle of something really important and couldn't be disturbed, (4) I'm AFK, and (5) I got my face planted on the table again and drooling all over the place.

This week has been especially busy because I got SL commitments to work with and deadlines to meet.  I still am short of sending one article for SLE (sorry about that, Carmichael) because yeah... Murphy's law. Internet's being stupid at home so I have to go and rent another computer at some other place to check my mails. To all the designers, I shall make sure to take the pictures and blog when net comes back on (*crosses fingers* Here's to hoping it'll be tomorrow). To Levity Magazine, thanks! To DS models scheduled under my time, please don't cause any trouble while I'm away. :P

So... I just realized that I posted this earlier half-baked. Apologies about that.
Went with Tabby on the last day of the Fairy Tales event and got myself a few stuff. I went to the Men's Department afterwards and got more items from there.

In my case, I would have to say Flynn Rider. 
Because let's face it. He's almost as awesome as I am.

Three things.

First, check out PFC's Son of Odin, and you'll definitely want to own it! The details are just mindblowing! I can't even begin to describe how psyched I was when I received a copy. Get it in 3 styles (polar, black, and grizzly). Each of the styles have the same content in the folder. You can just pick how you want to wear it on your own.

Also, if you've not received yet a copy of InWorld magazine's latest issue (Face of InWorld), head on to stores with InWorld Magazine kiosks (Vero Modero in this taxi) and grab one now. Redgrave is only one of the skin creators that generously gave a review copy of their David skin for my column.

And lastly, head on to Finesmith and grab one of their accessories for only 100L each. I'm not really sure when the sale will end, I'm just glad I bought some from the store before it did. \m/

Whistle while you hunt

Before I discovered that blogs such as SL Hunts existed, I used to get my hunt fix by going to certain stores and check out what hunt was currently running there. One of those stores was Vero Modero, for a number of reasons. 

1) They usually had a lot of hunts going on in tandem. 

2) The store is huge and I like a challenge when I hunt, 

though I get distracted by all the pretty along the way.

3) The quality of Vero Modero's hunt items have never 

disappointed me. Not once.

On to the goodies. 

The Now that you are mine hunt (June 1st - July 31) is this lovely bridal gown. It comes complete with veil and no less then three skirt options! All for 0 L

I've mentioned before on an earlier blog post that Finesmith is having a sale at their mainstore...well this sale extends to it's store on Marketplace as well. I snapped up the amazingly detailed Heartbreak necklace for only 100 L. Don't forget to rate items which you like!
